Exploring Innovation in Civil Engineering!
Our Civil Engineering Department faculty and III-year students had an enriching experience at the 6th Innovative Build Expo 2026, organized by the Tirunelveli District Civil Engineers Association (TiruCEA) on January 26, 2026.
This visit, conducted as part of our MoU activities, provided invaluable exposure to cutting-edge developments in civil engineering:
✨ Virtual Reality applications for interior design
🛡️ Advanced waterproofing technologies
🏠 Modern roofing methods
🔧 Prefabricated construction techniques
🧱 Interlocking wall construction systems
The expo strengthened our industry-institute collaboration, opening doors for future industrial visits, specialized training programs, and enhanced placement opportunities for our students.
Such practical exposures are essential for bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world applications, preparing our future engineers for the evolving construction industry.
